El Kimberley Proyect

cover_Punta.jpg

Uruguayan-USA series. Funny or Die 2022 - UN3 (Argentina) 2021

It’s “Borat” meets “Broad City” when Kimberley Horowitz (Kim K meets Lisa Simpson meets a confused Confucius) studies abroad in the practically unheard of Montevideo, Uruguay. Her local buddy the acerbic Facundo, films for her vlog in true mockumentary style. Low on rent she moves in with two locals, hippy chic Tina and straight talking tom boy Kari. Kimmy’s adventures are quickly turning into misadventures. It’s a reality show, it’s a sitcom, it’s a bilingual comedy that’s totally unique.

BOY - Music Video - Nappy Gilmore

This music video is a throw back to old Hollywood with tricks like rear screen projection. With some ingenious set design work and camera tricks we’re thrown into the utterly mundane and weird world of Nappy Gilmore.

Windows Without Doors

An experimental short film written by Celéste Rogosin & Heather Shapiro There's window to see out of this house, but no door to leave it... A young woman reflects upon the conflicting expectations and pressures she experiences today. In this dramatic short, the main character makes a guarded confession to the audience about her recent experiences with an assault. The account is intercut with candid footage filmed in Paris in the early 2000's and vintage 16mm footage from the 1950's shot by Celéste's grandfather, the documentarian filmmaker Lionel Rogosin.
